Sushant Singh Rajput announces his new film ‘Rifleman’ on Army Day

The actor Sushant Singh Rajput has announced his next film ‘Rifleman’ on the occasion of Army Day. The actor will be playing the role of rifleman as the poster suggests. Sushant posted a video clip on Twitter. The film is being produced by Abundantia Entertainment and Pooja Films. The director of the film is yet to be released. The film, however, is releasing this year.

He captioned the post: “An advancing enemy.
A border to protect.
One Braveheart.
#RIFLEMAN ???????? On the occasion of Army Day, excited to announce my next film”.The video shows a background of a war like situation with bullets being fired all around.

‘Rifleman’ looks like a film dedicated to the valor of the Indian Army with its first look. The clip shows mountains, fire, soldiers with the constant noise of the guns in the background.

With ‘Rifleman’ Sushant has now five Hindi films releasing this year. The others being ‘Sonchiriya’, ‘Drive’, ‘Kizie Aur Manny’, and ‘Chhichhore’. The actor had only one release last year ‘Kedarnath with Sara Ali Khan. While Sushant’s performance was praised in the movie but the film couldn’t do wonders at the box office.

In ‘Sonchiriya’ Sushant is performing with actors like Manoj Bajpaee, Bhumi Pednekar, Mahesh Balraj, Ranvir Shorey, and Ashutosh Rana among others. The film is hitting the screens on February 8.
