A short teaser of Sushant Singh Rajput and Jacqueline Fernandez starrer ‘Drive’ is out

A 23-second short teaser of Sushant Singh Rajput and Jacqueline Fernandez starrer Indian action drama film, ‘Drive’ is out today. The teaser was the official announcement of the film which will be released on June 28, 2019.

The video does not feature any face or place, just a piece of music, some engine noise, and some car’s headlights.

The film is based on 2011 release Hollywood action drama ‘Drive’ starring Ryan Gosling and Carey Mulligan. The Hollywood film revolved around an unnamed Hollywood stunt driver who works as a getaway driver at night.

Bollywood ‘Drive’ is directed by Tarun Mansukhani and bankrolled by Karan Johar. It was initially slated to release on 7 September 2018 but was pushed to 28 June 2019.

Sushant Singh Rajput who started his Bollywood journey with Abhishek Kapoor‘s ‘Kai Po Che’ was last seen in the same director’s movie ‘Kedarnath‘.

Sushant has a lot in his plate right now. He has been roped in upcoming four movies, viz,  Abhishek Chaubey’s ‘Sonchiriya’ opposite Bhumi Pednekar, Mukesh Chhabra’s remake of ‘The Fault in Our Stars’, Tarun Mansukhani’s action comedy ‘Drive’ opposite Jacqueline Fernandez and Nitesh Tiwari’s ‘Chhichhore’ opposite Shraddha Kapoor.

He was a part of science-fiction space film ‘Chanda Mama Door Ke’ with R. Madhavan, but due to budget issues, the film is kept of a hold. He is also set to portray 12 real-life characters in a biopic series on Stories of India.

Jacqueline Fernandez was last seen in Remo D’Souza’s ‘Race 3‘ opposite Salman Khan and in a cameo role in ‘Baaghi 2’.
