Sushant Singh Rajput and Jacqueline Fernandez shimmer in silver in new ‘Drive’ song ‘Prem Pujari’

Sushant Singh Rajput and Jacqueline Fernandez are shimmering in their silver outfits in a new song from their upcoming film Drive. The song titled as Prem Pujari is a happy song of celebrations where the duo can be seen dancing at a wedding. Sporting their silver outfits, the two stand out in the crowd where everyone is wearing golden.

Jacqueline Fernandez took to her social media account to share the song and wrote, “Keep it lit & keep it desi, this shaadi season! #PremPujari Out Now! #Drive on #Netflix on 1st Nov.”

Prem Pujari has been composed by Amartya Bobo Rahut with lyrics by Siddhant Kaushal. The vocals have been provided by Amit Mishra, Akasa Singh, Amartya Bobo Rahut and Dev Arijit with rap by GD 47.

This is the third track from Drive after Makhna and Karma. The film’s trailer was released a few days ago and gave a sneak peek into the film’s plot. Drive is a heist drama where the gang of Sushant and Jacqueline plan to rob the Rashtrapati Bhawan.

The film was initially supposed to have a theatrical release on September 7, 2018 but this was further pushed to June 28, 2019. Finally, the film will now be released on Netflix on 1 November this year.This would also make it the first original film from Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions to release on the streaming platform.

Directed by Tarun Mansukhani, the action-thriller also stars Boman Irani, Pankaj Tripathi, Vibha Chhibber, Sapna Pabbi and Vikramjeet Virk while the story of the film revolves around the manhunt for an infamous ‘King’ for a robbery of 300 Kilograms of gold.

Meanwhile, on the work front, Sushant Singh Rajput was last seen in Chhichhore that also starred Shraddha Kapoor, Varun Sharma, Naveen Polishetty, Prateik Babbar, Tahir Raj Bhasin, Saanand Verma, and followed the life of seven friends from 1992 to present day.

He also received wide appreciation for his work in Abhishek Chaubey’s Sonchiriya where he worked with Bhumi Padnekar, Manoj Bajpayee, Ranvir Shorey and Ashutosh Rana.

On the other hand, this year, Jacqueline was seen in an item song in Saaho that starred Prabhas and Shraddha Kapoor.
