As someone who left the world too soon, Sushant Singh Rajput certainly made an impact with his films and the work he did beyond them. His death has left a huge void on his family. Well, they won’t be able to see him ever again, but they are going to keep his legacy alive. They are setting up a foundation, under his name, Sushant Singh Rajput Foundation. The foundation will support those people who are aspiring to venture into the fields of science, cinema and sports.

Further, the actor’s home in Patna is being turned into a memorial. It will feature his personal belongings, favourite books and his most beloved asset, his telescope. The family confirmed this in a statement. They further said the following in the statement :

“We can’t bring ourselves to accept that we wouldn’t get to hear his easy laughs anymore. That we wouldn’t see his sparkling eyes again. That we wouldn’t hear his endless rants about science again. His loss has created a permanent, glaring void in the family that will never be filled.”

Sushant used to be an active member on social media platforms, he used to interact with a lot of his fans and who will certainly miss their interactions with their favorite star. As a tribute to him, the family have also decided to manage his social media accounts on Twitter, Facebook and Instagram. An email id for inquiries about the foundation was shared too.

Even his team had launched a website in order to honour him and celebrate his learnings, dreams and thoughts. The actor died by suicide on June 14 at his Bandra residence in Mumbai.

His last film, ‘Dil Bechara’ is going to premiere on 24 July on Disney+ Hotstar. Mukesh Chhabra has directed the film.
