After the 2015 film Nirbaak, the 43-year-old Sushmita Sen is back and is out to prove that she can still walk the ramp like a goddess. At the Lakme Fashion Week Summer/Spring 2018 with a last minute request Sushmita made sure she was the cynosure of all eyes as Umrao Jaan song “In Aankhon Ki Masti” played in the background. The theme of the event was ‘Samanzar – A Garden of Flowers’.
Post the event, She said, “I have to do a film with which I can take a bow. I would like to give back all the love.”
The Former Miss Universe was more than delighted to have closed the show leaving the audience wanting for more. She appeared in a lehenga, glittering choli and diaphanous dual dupattas by brand Kotwara by Meera and Muzaffar Ali at Lakme Fashion Week Summer/Resort 2018, in Mumbai.
Talking about wanting to do a film Sushmita Sen added saying, “It doesn’t matter if they are five or five thousand. I have to do a film for them and make sure that it’s a huge hit. I’m taking my time but I’ll do it”.
“Magical was the feeling while walking the runway. I always love walking the runway in Mumbai. I feel like I am home with my family and people are hooting for me. Looking royal is very easy with House of Kotwara,” she said.
Other than these she has a few other extraordinary desires too. “I want to learn skiing and parallel bar gymnastics. I want to go back to diving,” she added.
She said she feels blessed to be still asked about her next film, “when we have reached a certain age people say that they have seen enough of us or that we are past our screen age. I’m one of those few blessed people who is asked even today about when I would take up a new film project”.
