Praised on her powerhouse performances in Tanu Weds Manu, Raanjhna, Nil Battey Sannata, and recently Anaarkali of Aarah, Swara Bhaskar has proved herself to be one of the most versatile actresses of Indian Film Industry. She is known to be always up for experimenting with new skills set.
Having watched the telugu version of the film ‘Baahubali-2: The Conclusion’ over ten times, she was inspired to rekindle her desire to learn Telugu and to get her dialect right for which she sought help from her father.
On her urge to learn Telugu, Swara says, “My dad is from Andhra, so I’m half Telugu. However, since, we lived in Delhi, we never spoke the language at home and I couldn’t pick it up well. It was the shortcoming that I used to feel bad about.”
She adds,” I always had a desire to learn, as the language is a part of my cultural heritage. The obsession for the film acted as a catalyst.”
