Tamil moviegoers are getting multiple choices this week as five movies are scheduled to hit theatres this Friday on April 5. The audience can pick up from their favorite genres like action-comedy, comedy-drama, only drama, and action thriller.
Kuppathu Raja:
The Tamil action comedy-drama film features G. V. Prakash Kumar and Parthiban in the lead roles. The film is directed by Baba Bhaskar and produced by Saravanan and Siraj and Saravanan S FocuSS production.
The film revolves around the lives of people in the slums of Chennai as the title of the film means- King of the Slums.
Kudimagan:
The Tamil drama, written and directed by Sathieshwaran, stars Nanditha Jennifer and Sriram Parthasarathy in prominent roles.
Ganesha Meendum Santhipom:
Written and directed by Ratheesh Erate, the film stars Pandiarajan’s son, Prithvirajan, and Oviyaa in lead roles.
Oru Kadhai Sollatuma:
The multilingual musical film is directed by Prasad Prabhakar and produced by Rajeev Panakkal. The film will be released by the name ‘The Sound Story’ in Malayalam and Hindi.
The film features sound designer Resul Pookutty in the lead role, marking his acting debut. The story of the film explores the journey of a sound designer who tries hard to achieve his dream of recording all the sounds of the Thrissur Pooram, the annual Hindu temple festival of Kerala.
Uriyadi 2:
The film starring Vijay Kumar, Sudhakar, and Vismaya, is directed by Vijay Kumar and produced by Suriya.
The Tamil-language political action thriller film is the sequel of 2016 released ‘Uriyadi’.
