Four prominent Tamil movies are going to release this week which includes two romantic dramas ‘Dha Dha 87’ and ‘Thirumanam’, one comedy-drama ’90 ML’ and one investigative thriller ‘Thadam.
90 ML:
Written, Directed, and Produced by Anita Udeep ’90 ML’ is a comedy-drama starring Oviya in lead role and Anson Paul, Masoom Shankar, Monisha Ram, Shree Gopika, Bommu Lakshmi and Tej Raj in supporting roles.
The film is about a group of five free spirited, fun loving and independent women and their desires in life. It’s a women-centric bold yet fun and entertaining film.
Dha Dha 87:
It is an action romantic drama film written and directed by Vijay Sri G for his directorial debut. The film stars Kamal Haasan’s elder brother Charuhassan, Janagaraj, Keerthi Suresh’s maternal Grandmother Saroja, Anand Pandi, Jeni Pallavi, and Anu Lavanya pivotal roles.
The film is promoted as the spiritual continuation to the 1988 film ‘Sathya’ which featured Kamal Haasan in the lead role.
Thadam:
This Investigative thriller based on a real-life incident directed by Magizh Thirumeni and produced by Indra Kumar and Allirajah Subaskaran. The film stars Arun Vijay, Tanya Hope, Smruthi Venkat and Vidya Pradeep in the lead roles.
This is the second collaboration of Arun with director Magizh and the actor will be seen in a double role in the movie.
Thirumanam:
The family romantic drama film is written and directed by Cheran, who is also playing a pivotal role in it. The film stars Umapathy Ramaiah and Kavya Suresh in the lead roles while Thambi Ramaiah, M. S. Bhaskar, Sukanya and Manobala in supportive roles.
Premnath Chidambaram under his production studio Preniss International has produced the film which is also the first production venture for the studio.
