Tamil movie audience has too much drama to go through in this week. The industry is releasing four films, viz musical drama ‘Sarvam Thaala Mayam’, comedy action drama ‘Vantha Rajavathaan Varuven’, action crime drama ‘Sagaa’ and just drama ‘Peranbu’.
Peranbu
The film starring Mega Star Mammootty, Anjali, Sadhana, Samuthirakani and Anjali Ameer in the lead roles is directed by Thanga Meengal Ram and produced by P.L. Thenappan. ‘Peranbu’ also titled Resurrection, had its world premiere at the International Film Festival Rotterdam on 27 January 2018, and had the Asian premiere at the Shanghai International Film Festival, China on 17 June.
It was also selected for screening under the Indian Panorama category of 49th International Film Festival of India.
Sarvam Thaala Mayam
It is an upcoming Tamil-language musical drama film written and directed by Rajiv Menon and produced by Latha Menon. A.R. Rahman has composed the music for the feature film.
The film stars G. V. Prakash Kumar and Aparna Balamurali in the lead roles, and Nedumudi Venu, Vineeth, Santha Dhananjayan, and Kumaravel in supporting roles.
English meaning of the film’s title is Omnipresence of Rhythm.
Vantha Rajavathaan Varuven
The upcoming Tamil action comedy-drama is directed by Sundar C and produced by Lyca Productions. It stars Silambarasan in the lead role alongside Ramya Krishnan, Megha Akash, Prabhu, Catherine Tresa, Mahat Raghavendra, and Yogi Babu in supporting roles.
Hiphop Tamizha has composed the music for the remake of Telugu film ‘Attarintiki Daredi’ (2013).
The English translation of the title is “If I return, it’ll only be as a king” which is a dialogue taken from 2018 released ‘Chekka Chivantha Vaanam’.
Sagaa
Directed by Murugesh the film stars Saran, Kishore, Sreeram, Pandi, Prithvi, Ayra, and Neerja as imprisoned criminals. The plot revolves around revenge, friendship, and love.
The project is bankrolled by R.Selvakumar Ramprasath.
