Kajol as Savitribai Malusare in \\\

After releasing the first-look posters of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, Aurangzeb, and Jijamata a couple of days ago, the makers of the upcoming film Tanhaji- The Unsung Warrior have finally unveiled the first-look poster of Kajol today.

While the looks of other two main leads Ajay Devgn and Saif Ali Khan were unveiled last month, Kajol’s look was kept under wraps. There was a lot of curiosity among the fans as the Baazigar actress has never been seen in a period film before.

The long wait has finally come to an end as only a while ago Ajay Devgn shared the poster of his on-screen as well as off-screen wife on his Twitter page. Kajol looks magnificent as Savitribai Malusare – the wife of Tanaji. While she is looking beautiful in saree and that traditional Marathi nose ring, she is also holding fiery confidence in her eyes.

While sharing the poster, Ajay wrote, “Savitribai Malusare – Tanhaji ke saahas ka sahara… aur unke bal ki shakti.  #TanhajiTheUnsungWarrior in cinemas 10th January 2020. TANHAJI TRAILER TOMORROW”

Kajol also took to her social Media account to share her first-look and wrote, “”Main aapko harne nahi doongi” #TanhajiTheUnsungWarrior, in cinemas 10th January 2020. TANHAJI TRAILER TOMORROW”

Tanhaji- The Unsung Warrior is based on the life of Tanaji Malusare, an unsung warrior of glorious Indian history and the military leader in the army of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj who was celebrated for his role in the Battle of Sinhagad in 1670 AD.

Ajay Devgn will be seen playing the titular role of Tanhaji whereas Saif Ali Khan will be seen portraying the character of Udaybhan Rathod and Kajol will be seen in the role of Tanaji’s wife Savitri Malusare.

The movie also features Sharad Kelkar, Jagapathi Babu, Devdutta Nage, Pankaj Tripathi, Neha Sharma, Ajinkya Deo, Kailash Waghmare, Hardik Sangani, Luke Kenny, and Vipul Gupta.

Directed by Om Raut, the film is produced by Ajay Devgn, Bhushan Kumar, and Krishan Kumar.
