India is able to secure only two bronze medals in the Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity. It is won by the advertising agency TBWA/India, in ‘Print & Publishing’ and ‘Health & Wellness’ categories, for its “One Mindful Mind” campaign for NeuroGen Brain and Spine Institute.
The “One Mindful Mind” kit is establishing a new concept of better understanding between parents and children relationship. It provides assistance to parents on how to deal with various situations as well as helps children for a better understanding of their emotions. They provide solutions to deal with various mental health issues arising nowadays.
India had a total of seven shortlists in the print & publishing category and two in the health & wellness category this year. Over 30,953 entries from 89 countries have been entered across categories like films, craft, entertainment, print, digital, outdoor, creative effectiveness, Glass Lion for Change.
TBWA is the only agency to secure the metals from India, meanwhile, five Grand Prix were also awarded on day one namely: Nike’s Dream Crazy campaign, Google’s Creatability, BBDO’s Blank Newspaper, GSK’s Breath of Life and IKEA’s ThisAbles.
India is observed to have a slow start but all the eyes are upon DAY 2 which is marked as distribution of various awards in the categories Digital craft, Film craft, Industry craft and Entertainment lions of Music and Sports.
