Helmed by Anup Gopalan, the film features John Abraham and Manushi Chhillar in lead roles. The film is bankrolled by Dinesh Vijan under the banner Maddock Films. Based on the true events, the geopolitical thriller revolves around the Russian-Ukrainian War.

Tehran has been generating great buzz ever since its announcement, and the addition of Manushi will surely get fans even more excited for the movie.

The film also marks the first collaboration between John Abraham and Manushi Chhillar. Apart from Tehran, John Abraham has Pathaan in the pipeline. The actor will be sharing the screen with Shahrukh Khan and Deepika Padukone in Pathaan. Meanwhile, Manushi Chillar will be seen alongside Vicky Kaushal in The Great Indian Family.
