It does not take much time before it catches its target. This is what the COVID-19 virus is and now it has caught hold of its new victim. Telugu superstar, Chiranjeevi is its latest victim as he announced that he has tested positive for the virus on Monday.
While preparing to start the shoot of his next film, Acharya, Chiranjeevi underwent a Covid test as part of the safety protocol. The result which came out as positive was shared by the actor in a letter to his fans on social media.
In his letter, Chiranjeevi wrote, “I am currently asymptomatic & quarantining myself at home. Request all those who met me in the last 5 few days to also undergo covid tests. Will update you on my recovery soon.”
Recently the actor went with Nagarjuna to Pragathi Bhavan on Saturday, to meet the Telangana Chief Minister, K Chandrashekar Rao. Though why did they went to meet him?
The Telugu Film Industry like all the other film industries is not thriving. This time warrants the Telangana state government to step up and help the cinema business. How the government can help the industry during these tough times is what was majorly discussed during their meeting.
