Veteran actor Anil Kapoor announces the release date of a Netflix Original film Thar. The film marks the second collaboration of the father-son duo on screen. Thar is slated to release on May 6.
After a cameo role in AK Vs AK in 2020, Harsh Varrdhan Kapoor is set to join his father Anil Kapoor for a Netflix film. Actors Satish Kaushik and Fatima Sana Shaikh will also feature in Thar.

Bollywood actor Anil Kapoor announced the release date of his upcoming thriller drama Thar soon to premiere on Netflix. The actor took to Instagram to share the poster of Thar. The post captions, “Iss Banjar zameen ke chupe saare raaz ho jaenge jald kaanoon ke haathon benaquaab! Watch me, unfold the mystery of #Thar coming on 6th May, only on Netflix.” Have a look at the intense poster of Thar.

More About Anil Kapoor Starrer ‘Thar’
Inspired by the Western Noir genre, Thar is set in the 1980s featuring The Mirzya famed actor Harsh Vardhan Kapoor as Siddharth, an antique dealer. The film depicts the journey of Siddharth through a remote village in Rajasthan, rocked by a series of violent killings. However, his life changes as a local cop Surekha Singh investigating the case crosses his path.
Helmed by debutant director Raj Singh Chaudhary, the film also features Fatima Sana Shaikh and Satish Kaushik in pivotal roles. Produced by Anil Kapoor Film Company (AKFC) with Anurag Kashyap, Thar is set to premiere on Netflix on May 6.
