The Indian stock market had many loopholes before the establishment of SEBI in 1992. It all changed because of one man, whose story has inspired Abhishek Bachchan’s upcoming film ‘The Big Bull’. The film which will come out soon on Disney+ Hotstar has generated excitement ever since it was announced. As it is slowly reaching its release date, Abhishek Bachchan has shared the first look of Ileana D’Cruz from the film.
On Tuesday, the actor took to Twitter to share his co-star’s look. He shared :

Actor, Ileana D’cruz also shared her look on Twitter. Sharing the look she wrote, Excited to be a part of the world of The Big Bull: The Man who sold dreams to India.”
For the uninitiated, The Big Bull is based on stockbroker Harshad Mehta’s life. Harshad was the man who pulled off a Rs 5000 crore securities fraud in 1992. That scandal rocked the whole country, as it exposed the existing loopholes in the Banking and financial sector.
Apart from Abhishek and Ileana, the film also stars Nikita Dutta, Soham Shah, Ram Kapoor, Supriya Pathak, and Saurabh Shukla.
Earlier in an interview, Abhishek had talked about ‘The Big Bull’ and has said :
“The Big Bull isn’t historical. It is based in Mumbai in the late 1980s and early 1990s. It’s a rag to riches story, a story of ambition that if you work towards your goal, you’ll definitely achieve it.”
Director, Kookie Gulati has helmed the project, with Ajay Devgn and Anand Pandit producing it. It’ll premiere soon on Disney+ Hotstar. Ritesh Shah has penned the dialogues for the film.
Actor, Abhishek Bachchan was last seen in the Amazon Prime series, Breath: Into The Shadows, which recently released on July 10, 2020. His last film was Anurag Kashyap’s Manmarziyaan.
