The 2018 horror-comedy ‘Stree’ starring Rajkummar Rao and Shraddha Kapoor was a major hit at the box office and was well received by the masses and the critics. The film was appreciated for great performances, strong writing, and for being an entertaining watch. However, the film also became the talk of the town due to a major dispute between the two production companies over the distribution of the film’s profit. And finally, after two years the issue has been finally resolved.

For those unaware, Stree was co-produced by Dinesh Vijan of Maddock Films and Raj Nidimoru and Krishna DK of D2R Films and the banter went on for two years and has now reached a peaceful conclusion. The companies have jointly released a statement stating that they have resolved their differences.
