Almost every film has been delayed by their producers or have been released on an OTT platform but not ‘Tenet’. Christopher Nolan’s ambitious film is the only film not to delay its release date. Scheduled to release on July 17, the film’s latest trailer only shows ‘Coming Soon in Theatres’, hinting a delay.

The makers of the film have something to cheer on now. The National Association of Theatre Owners have a good news for the makers now. In an interview to Business Insider, they revealed that the majority (about 90 percent) of  theatres are expected to open up in the world by the time the release date of the film approaches near.

The espionage thriller stars John David Washington in the lead role. Besides him actors such as Robert Pattinson, Elizabeth Debicki and Michael Caine will play prominent roles. Hoyte van Hoytema,  cinematographer of Nolan’s previous films Interstellar and Dunkirk has shot the film. Produced by Christopher Nolan along with his wife Emma Thomas, the film will release in 35 mm and 70 mm formats.

The film is being awaited with close breadths by cinephiles, the world over.
