Salman Khan’s ‘Tiger Zinda Hai’, which is a sequel to 2012 released ‘Ek Tha Tiger’ has set the Box office on fire and continues to do so in its sixth week. Filmmaker Ali Abbas Zafar’s second venture with Salman after ‘Sultan’ has proved to be the best bet for the makers. It is their second film together. Also, their second film to cross the 300 crore mark and is a third for the actor. It has collected an estimated Rs 55 lakh on Sunday, thus taking its sixth-weekend collections to an impressive Rs 1.65 crore approximately, and its total to an estimated Rs 337.14 crore, according to a report on BoxofficeIndia.com.

The film that boasts of some high octane action stunts by the lead pair of Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif, not only emerged as one of the top Bollywood grosser of 2017 but also now marks as Salman’s third 300 crore film.

Trade analyst Taran Adarsh suggests that the film will soon go past the 2-crore mark in week 6, thus making it only the third film after ‘Baahubali 2: The Conclusion’ and ‘3 Idiots’ to achieve this feat in the last decade.Tiger Zinda Hai is continuing to do very well at the box office despite being in its sixth week as it collected around Rs 45-50 lakhs net on its sixth Saturday.The Noted film critic and trade analyst took to Twitter and shared the latest figures. He tweeted,

There seems no sign of ending its theatrical run yet despite its competition with the controversial Padmaavat. Fans have showered their love on the film and box office figures have surpassed Salman Khan’s previous highest-scoring blockbuster Bajrangi Bhaijaan which stood at Rs 320 crore.
