The Timeliners premiered a new video, “Baap v/s Beta: Baap Kaise Bante Hai” on their youtube channel today. The video was premiered an hour ago and all those watching at the same time can comment and chat while watching the video. The video has 24k views in an hour only.
The video is both sweet and extra. While everyone is releasing videos to make fathers feel special, The Timeliners have something different to offer. They do make the efforts of fathers count but in an unprecedented way. The fathers here form a community and call it BBC, Bechain Baap Community, where they proudly reassure themselves by saying in chorus “Baap Baap Hota Hai” by thumping on their chest.
While one of them is upset that his son doesn’t follow him on Instagram and Facebook, the other says that he is treated like domestic help. He is asked to bring back his grandchild from daycare school and also groceries on his way back. However, the real problem is faced by Mr. Manchandani, who finds out that his son wants to buy a digihome but with his own money and doesn’t want his father’s money at all.
A proper committee is set up to make him understand what a father has to go through, and that it is not just the child that makes him a father but the responsibilities attached as well. A father has to be sacrificing, should have a supreme ego and should be able to support his family. Both the father and son then bring a few flashbacks to prove their point. While Varun fails at proving that whether he has done any sacrifice his wife Tanisha tells that Varun hasn’t bought the house because he wanted to show it to his dad.
The video is both sweet and funny but the melodrama that until now were thought to be associated with women was on point in this video.
