Alone on Tuesday, the movie has earned Rs 20 crores and we can clearly say that the film would not take much time to cross Rs 100 crore at the box office. The movie focuses on the issue of open defecation in rural India.

The movie “Toilet: Ek Prem Katha is in support of the Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Swachh Bharat Abhiyan to improve the sanitation conditions of the rural areas. The main motive of the movie is to focus on the important subject of building and using toilets in the country.

Taran Adarsh again tweeted saying that the movie is a one horse race, “#ToiletEkPremKatha is an ONE-HORSE RACE… Does MASSIVE biz on Independence Day… Crosses ₹ 80 cr, racing towards ₹ 100 cr… #TEPK”
