Tom Hanks is a good man. You know it, I know it, The whole world knows this. The actor and his wife who contracted the Coronavirus in March, having since been recovered are spreading awareness about it. Hanks has again donated his blood plasma for research about the virus. The actor took to Instagram to share the news with his fans.

The actor and his wife contracted the virus while they were in Australia, where Hanks was shooting for Baz Luhrmann’s untitled Elvis Presley film, produced by Warner bros. They became the first Hollywood celebrities to contract the disease. After recovering from the virus, the couple returned to Los Angeles at the end of March. Hanks and his wife who are helping to create awareness about the virus ever since then, shared on NPR’s Wait Wait Don’t Tell Me! podcast via MSN that earlier they had volunteered to donate their blood and plasma for research regarding the Coronavirus.

The couple are doing the humane work of spreading awareness about the virus and Hanks has time and again proved that he is one of the nicest human beings in Hollywood.
