Bollywood actor Farhan Akhtar, who was last seen in Shonali Bose directorial The Sky Is Pink, has shared his look from his upcoming sports drama film Toofan. He took to his Instagram account to share the photo and wrote, “When life gets harder, you just get stronger. Iss saal Toofan uthega. Releasing 02/10/2020. Happy to share this exclusive image with you as we dive into the new year. Hope you like it.”
In the picture, Akhtar can be seen standing in a boxing ring with an intense look on his face, probably looking at his opponent during a match. The fruitful result of his hard work and strenuous physical training is visible in the form of his ripped muscles.

He also shared a BTS picture from his training session last week. He can be seen lifting two dumbbells in the photo with a tough look on his face. He wrote along with the post, “I got a rep to protect.”

The film features Farhan Akhtar, Paresh Rawal, Isha Talwar, and Mrunal Thakur in leading roles.While Akhtar will be seen playing the central character of a boxer working hard to win a boxing match, Rawal will be seen playing his coach.
Written by Anjum Rajabali, the film is directed by Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra who has previously collaborated with Akhtar on 2013 biographical sports drama Bhaag Milkha Bhaag. Toofan is jointly produced by Farhan Akhtar, Ritesh Sidhwani, Mehra, P. S. Bharathi and Rajiv Tandon. It is scheduled to be released on the occasion of Gandhi Jayanti on 2 October 2020.
