The animated horror-comedy, Hotel Transylvania: Transformania streamed this Friday on Amazon Prime Video. It has been a long time since the third part of the popular franchise, Hotel Transylvania: Summer Vacation was released. The fourth part got delayed due to the ongoing pandemic situation.
The story revolves around the adventurous tale of the aminated creatures living in Transylvania. The prime invention, “Monsterfication Ray” goes faulty, which leads to a chaotic situation where all the monsters transform into humans, and vice versa. Now Drac, the monster and his friends team up with Johnny, a human to explore the world for the cure to switch themselves back again before the alteration becomes permanent forever.

2. The Tragedy Of Macbeth – Apple TV+

Joel Coen’s The Tragedy Of Macbeth is based on Shakespeare’s play, Macbeth. Denzel Washington, starring as Macbeth, plays an overambitious man, greedy for power. His ostentatious ways to win the hearts with a desire to conquer the whole country, lead him to indulge in sinful acts with huge repercussions. Frances McDormand features as Lady Macbeth, who supports his husband in his iniquitous practices with a plan to colonize Scotland.
Joel Coen attempts to make the audience revisit the everlasting classic of Shakespeare’s Macbeth in his unique mechanism of direction and screenplay.

3. Eternals – Disney+ Hotstar

Oscar-winning director, Chloe Zhao’s most awaited movie, Eternals is now streaming on Disney+ Hotstar. The movie depicts the tales of immortal beings who saved the entire history of mankind on the earth. Eternals exhibits the saga of the superheroes clumped together to save the planet from the Deviants. Chloe Zhao placed the top star cast for Eternals including, Angelina Jolie, Harry Styles, Gemma Chan, Richard Madden, Salma Hayek, Kit Harrington and many more. Eternals have arrived under Marvel Cinematic Universe, and it is commendable to see Zhao stretch the boundaries of what a MCU film can be, especially with such a diverse cast.

4. Riverdance And The Animated Adventure – Netflix

Directors Eamonn Butler and Dave Rosenbaum’s euphoric Irish animated adventure gives a modern, fantastic spin to the humorous genre. Pierce Brosnan, Brendan Gleeson, Lilly Singh are the main cast of Riverdance: The Animated Adventure.
The movie proffers a new musical chapter to the fans of the original production, as well as a few Irish folk tales and rousing lore for kids with a sense of humour and the usual complement of shrewd talking animals.

5. Putham Pudhu Kaalai : Vidiyadha – Amazon Prime Video

Putham Pudhu Kaalai is an anthology that brings five original contemporary Tamil directors together- Sudha Kongara, Gautham Menon, Suhasini Maniratnam, Rajiv Menon and Karthik Subbaraj. It comprises 5 stories of difficult and poignant relationships set in difficult situations of the pandemic. The story essays a sense of hope and warmth in some’s life, while agony and despair in the others. The film features a troupe of versatile actors– Shruti Hassan, Ritu Varma, Kalyani Priyadarshan, Ananya Ramaprasad, Leela Samson, Urvashi, Jayaram, and others. The entire film was shot during the Covid-19 pandemic and it endeavours to portray the hassle of the lockdown affecting lives of the people in India.
