The 2013 film Mumbai Police had all the surprising elements of a mystery film. An investigative thriller which follows the story of a police officer who loses his memory after an accident and now he’s retracing his past as he wants to unveil the mystery behind a case he was investigating. The film’s plot moves around three cops, Ashraf (Rahman), Anthony and Aryan (Jayasurya). The chemistry among the trio matches the intensity of this thriller. With bold performance by the cast and the crafting of a suspenseful story, makes the film an engaging watch. Definitely an underrated film.

Mulshi Pattern (Marathi)
The 2018 crime thriller became a milestone for the Marathi film industry. It is the story of farmers who sold of their ancestral lands and then their struggles and hardships of earning bread for their family. Being this as the base plot, we follow the story of Sakharam Patil (Mohan Joshi), a farmer and how eventually his son Rahul (Om Bhutkar) takes up the path of crime. What we witness further is the true depiction of the farmers’ crisis in our country. The story keeps us hooked with it’s honest storyline as well as with the top notch performance by the whole cast. A film which should be there on your watchlist.

Hit (Telugu)
A film which blown away my mind when I first watched it. An investigative thriller which definitely is very well written. The film takes you to a thrilling ride as a cop investigates the case of a missing girl also dealing with his unsettling past. A psychological take within the story makes it more gripping. The story and the plot turns are crafted like a masterpiece. The film promises to be a series with this one being the first case. An engaging tale which keeps you at the edge of your seat till the end. If you love thrillers, this one’s definitely for you.
