Every time she tries something new!

Bollywood actress Vidya Balan says that every time she tries to do something new, but still the movie did not work. Recently, her movie ‘Tumhari Sulu‘ got released on November 17. The movie which focuses on the life of Sulochana ( the character played by Vidya  Balan), a simple middle-class woman and people usually call her ‘Sulu’. Though her movie dries run at the box office and on this she believes that the movie clicked with the audience because the movie is more rooted in the middle-class ethos.

As an actor, it does not mean that she is not taking the risks but she feels that somehow her experiments did not work until now. With her every project she always tries to do something new but every time the movie did not work and she believes that it is an unfortunate truth. She feels that if the movie does not do well that only means that most of the people have not seen the movie. She has always given her best whenever she has attempted to do something different and she is thankful that her work got appreciated in all movies she did till now.

The movie ‘Tumhari Sulu’ has been directed by Suresh Triveni and produced by Bhushan Kumar under the banners of T-Series and Ellipsis Entertainment. The movie features Vidya Balan in the role of a late night Radio jockey in Mumbai,  Manav Kaul as Vidya Balan’s husband and actress  Neha Dhupia as Vidya’s Boss. In the movie, Vidya as a housewife has a full of business plans and finally one day she lands herself into the job of a Radio Jockey.

The movie shows the celebration of everyday woman and their indomitable spirit. The movie gives the social message that a woman is balancing everything in their life and most of the time they do not get appreciated until and unless they are the achievers. A woman should be appreciated everything they do as they do everything with the much commitments and dedication and the script does that.

However, the movie got appreciated for their witty one-liners and Vidya’s chemistry with her co-actor Manav-Kaul, who played her husband in the movie. Even she credited the director of the movie for putting the right emotions and successfully capturing the real-life emotions. The makers of the movie did a lot of changes in the movies during the shoot and it just followed when it was in the script. She says that the Suresh sees the humor in the real-life situation and it is mundanity of every life. When they all started shooting for the movie, they said that it was the best script that they have read and they just improvise it and made it better.

Recently, the director of the movie have visited the theater to see the reaction of the audience and after seeing the reaction his heartfelt very good to see that the audience is engaging so much with the story. Vidya thinks that the rooted stories are doing a great but most of the Indian lives in the middle-class family and she got the comments that she captures the little things of a middle-class life. She feels that she has grown up in the middle-class family and she is very grateful for that and for everything. Her upcoming movie ‘Tumhari Sulu’ once again proved that the good story will resonate with the viewers. She feels that good content of the movie will always work and there is a certain film which resonates with the audience and they just love it and in today’s time it is very important that the story should connect to the audience.
