Ramadan season has always been lucky for Salman Khan‘s films including ‘Sultan’, ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’ and ‘Ek Tha Tiger’. Tubelight underperformed on Eid unlike Salman Khan’s films which set new records on box office mainly on Eid. But, in seven days, it has finally managed to cross the prestigious 100 crore mark!
The film opened to a crackling response on Friday with a collection of Rs 21.15 crore followed by Rs 19.75 crore on Saturday and Rs 22.25 crore on Sunday. Monday (Eid) and Tuesday’s collections were recorded at Rs 18.50 crore and Rs 11.75 crore respectively. The following two days were even worse with the business limited to Rs 6.50 crore and Rs 4.50 crore on Wednesday and Thursday, respectively. However, the graph dipped on Wednesday but the total collections have crossed 100 crore. Taran Adarsh shared the box office collections of ‘Tubelight’ on his Twitter account.

The Eid release, which was met with mixed reviews, is reported to be one of Salman’s lowest collection. Nevertheless, ‘Tubelight’ is now Salman Khan’s eleventh 100 crore film.
