Sujoy Ghosh is an Indian film director. Sujoy made his directorial debut with a movie “Jhankaar”, which was a tribute to R.D Burman. Later, he directed “Home Delivery” and “Aladin”, which did not achieve box office success. Then in 2012, he came up with the movie “Kahaani.”
“Kahaani” is an Indian mystery thriller film, which was co-written, co-produced and directed by Sujoy Ghosh. The movie features Vidya Balan as a pregnant woman searching for her missing husband in Kolkata during the festival of Durga Puja.
According to the recent reports, Now Sujoy Ghosh is gearing up to make a TV show. The filmmaker is working on the script for a television show. Sujoy venture will be something on the lines of his thriller movie. The show will be based in Kolkata and will essentially be a thriller. However, he is not adapting “Kahaani” for TV, but he is making something which will be based on the hit film.
Earlier there were rumours that Sujoy Ghosh is approaching Jacqueline Fernandez for a role of his upcoming TV show. But there is no official confirmation from the director yet.
