Bollywood is shaken and saddened by the Amarnath terror attack that killed seven pilgrims, including five women, when a bus carrying at least 56 passengers was attacked by militants Monday evening. All the victims hailed from Gujarat. The bus was returning from Baltal to Mir Bazar after darshan. The militants also carried out two attacks on security forces in the area.
A flood of reactions from the industry filled the social media with celebrities like Akshay Kumar, Shah Rukh Khan, Varun Dhawan, Huma Qureshi, Madhur Bhandarkar, Alia Bhatt, Anupam Kher, Farhan Akhtar, Riteish Deshmukh, Urvashi Rautela, Swara Bhasker, Vivek Anand Oberoi, Kajal Aggarwal, Rahul Dev, Aftab Shivdasani , Adnan Sami, Shekhar Kapur, Karan Johar, Arjun Kapoor, Mahesh Bhatt, Shabana Azmi, Randeep Hooda, Soha Ali Khan, Mohit Marwah, Shekhar Suman, Sophie Choudry, Sajid Khan took to Twitter with the tags #AmarnathTerrorAttack and #AmarnathYatra, to express their anguish and strongly condemn the dastardly attack on innocent people in strong words. They also prayed for the victims of the attack.
