uri-the surgical strike- movie

Uri: The Surgical Strike‘ staring Vicky Kaushal and Yami Gautam in the lead roles has witnessed an excellent second-Tuesday collection at the box office. The movie is written and helmed by Aditya Dhar. ‘Uri – The Surgical Strike’ has collected a hefty amount of ₹6.50 crores on second Tuesday of its release. The second week stands at a huge ₹51 crore net so far with two more days left. Till now the film has done a total business of ₹122 crores net. The second week should end at around ₹62 crores net which will be 15% higher than its first-week collection at the box office.

The film has crossed ₹45 crores net in Mumbai which is an insane number for a patriotic film which tends to outperform in the North. The business in Delhi/UP is around ₹24 crores net which is also very good but in no comparison to Mumbai. The other strong markets are West Bengal and Mysore which have crossed ₹6 and ₹7 crore net respectively.

The ₹200 crores mark is not out of the questions and Friday will be the test to see if it remains in the race for ₹200 crore net. If the film trends like last Friday then its a sure shot for ₹200 crore net but with big competition it will be much tougher this week.

The film stars Paresh RawalMohit Raina, and Kirti Kulhari in pivotal roles. It is written and directed by Aditya Dhar, produced by Ronnie Screwvala and presented by RSVP movies.
