Uri: The Surgical Strike‘ had a historic fourth week at the box office, as the movie collected a record-breaking amount of ₹18.67 crores. The movie breaks Day 23 and Day 24 records held by the blockbuster film ‘Baahubali: The Conclusion’, according to the Trade analyst, Taran Adarsh who tweeted, “#UriTheSurgicalStrike creates HISTORY… Smashes Day 23 and Day 24 records held by #Baahubali2

‘Uri’ has beaten every outright Hindi film be it ‘Sanju’, ‘PK’, ‘Dangal’ or ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’. The 2009 film ‘3 Idiots’ had the highest fourth-weekend collection a little over ₹9.50 crore net.

Not only ‘Uri’ has beaten the fourth-weekend collection of the above mentioned but also has managed to beat their fourth-week collections. Raju Hirani’s ‘3 idiots’ collected ₹16 crore net in week four which was the best fourth-week collection.

The film ‘Uri: The Surgical Strike’ has collected a huge amount of ₹189 crores, till date. The movie will soon cruise past the ₹200 crores mark next week. The film collected ₹71.23 crores in the first week, ₹62.76 crores in the second week, and ₹36 crores approx in the third week and ₹18.67 crores in the fourth week.

Aditya Dhar directorial has been financed by Ronnie Screwvala and it stars Vicky KaushalYami GautamMohit RainaParesh Rawal, and Kirti Kulhari.

The film is based on the surgical strike carried out on September 29, 2016, by the Indian Army in answer to the Uri terror attack which killed 19 unarmed army men. The strike destroyed several terrorist launch pads across the Line of Control and killed around 50 terrorists.
