‘Uri – The Surgical Strike‘ is running in its sixth week and through its miraculous run, it has collected ₹227.37 crores gross at the Indian Box Office till date. In its sixth week, the film has garnered ₹8.20 crores across the nation.
‘Uri’ had a decent run in the region where last week’s release ‘Gully Boy’ failed to impress and that is why in spite of strong competitors the film is holding strong even after six weeks.
According to the trade analyst and movie critic Taran Adarsh’s tweet, “
#UriTheSurgicalStrike collects in crores even on [sixth] Mon… Also better than [sixth] Fri.”

In Box Office India words, “As soon as it looks it is slowing down the collections again get some life and somehow it manages to sustain better than expected.”
The Vicky Kaushal starrer has surpassed all the big blockbuster movies’ fifth week earning. It even earned more than ‘Bahubali – The Conclusion’, ‘3 Idiots’, ‘Dangal’, ‘Gadar’ in its fifth week.
According to the Box Office India reports, “Till date, the film has not even seen a 50% weekly drop though it could happen this week due to the competition.”
Several movies were released during its run but none was big enough to give it even a small competition. And with this, it has become the first medium budget movie to go this far.
