“Josh” of the makers of ‘Uri- The Surgical Strike‘ might be at its peak right now as the film has surpassed all the big blockbuster movies’ fifth week earning. It even earned more than ‘Bahubali – The Conclusion’, ‘3 Idiots’, ‘Dangal’, ‘Gadar’ in its fifth week.
The film has a total earning of ₹ 219 crore net and if continues to move at this speed, it is expected to go past ₹225 crores in a day or two.
According to the Box Office India reports, “Till date, the film has not even seen a 50% weekly drop though it could happen this week due to the competition.”
‘Uri- The Surgical Strike’ has become the highest grossing medium budget movie to date.
The Vicky Kaushal starrer crossed 200 crores at the Indian Box Office at the starting of its fifth week and on this occasion, the actor took to Instagram to share this news and his excitement. He thanked the nation for making it possible.

Several movies were released during its run but none was big enough to give it even a small competition. And with this, it has become the first medium budget movie to go this far.
Meanwhile, the movie has broken several records, created history and emerged as the first blockbuster of this year. Biz analyst Taran Adarsh called it “MONSTROUS HIT” in one of his earlier tweets.
The film has done a huge business overseas as films made around Kashmir or Pakistan issue tend to be a no show for the huge Muslim audience overseas. But the film had managed to collect around ₹300 crores worldwide.
Aditya Dhar directorial has been financed by Ronnie Screwvala and it stars Yami Gautam, Mohit Raina, Paresh Rawal, and Kirti Kulhari.
