A few days back we reported that Ayushmann Khurrana is starring in Abhishek Kapoor’s next film. Now, other news related to the project has come. Not one to waste much time, Abhishek Kapoor has decided the leading lady of the film. Actor, Vaani Kapoor is going to star opposite Khurrana in the film.
Trade analyst, Taran Adarsh revealed this news via Twitter. Adarsh had posted the following tweet :
UPDATE… #VaaniKapoor opposite #AyushmannKhurrana in director #AbhishekKapoor's forthcoming film… Not titled yet.. A love story set in #NorthIndia… #Ayushmann will enact the part of an athlete… Starts Oct 2020.

The fresh pair of Vani and Ayushmann is certainly going to entice the audience in watching the film. This is the first time, both are working with each other.
Since Ayushmann plays the role of an athlete in the film, a lot of physical preparation will have to be done by him. The actor is clearly excited to do the film, which promises to showcase him in a new light.
Ayushmann was quoted as saying :
“I have never looked like this on-screen. The process is going to be intense and excruciating for me but I feel all the pain will be worth it.”
While Vaani praised Ayushmann and called him one of the finest actors of the country, and said this about working on the film :
“I have always wanted to work with Abhishek Kapoor, being so inspired by his films. This feels like an amazing opportunity to be part of his vision”.
Further as per reports, the film will come out on August 2021.
Ayushmann was last seen in the Shoojit Sircar directorial, Gulabo Sitabo opposite Amitabh Bachchan, which released on Amazon Prime.
Next up, he is also gearing up for an action thriller film with Anubhav Sinha, which will release on October 16.
Vaani, on the other hand, was last seen in YRF’s War as Hrithik Roshan’s love interest. She’s also set to appear in Shamshera opposite Ranbir Kapoor.
