The era of 1990s gave us some very talented and popular actresses. While Madhuri Dixit, Sri Devi, and Juhi Chawla were ruling the roost, the decade also saw the debut of Karisma Kapoor, Kajol, Tabu among others and witnessed their rise of to stardom.
While we all have our favourite actresses from the era, Varun Dhawan has also disclosed the list of the 90s actresses with whom he would love to work.
During a recent interview with Bollywood Hungama, the actor shared the names of three actresses from 1990s he would love to work with if transferred to that era. And those actresses are Divya Bharti, Karisma Kapoor, and Juhi Chawla.
The actor first took the name of late Divya Bharti and shared a childhood memory with her. Divya who was starring David Dhawan’s Shola Aur Shabnam cooked an omelette for him when he was crying on the sets of the film and needed something to eat.
He next took the name of Karisma Kapoor and said she is her all time favourite and she also knows it.
He also named Juhi Chawla and said she is the best when it comes to comedy.
On the work front, Varun Dhawan is all set for his upcoming film Street Dancer which stars himself, Shraddha Kapoor, Norah Fatehi, and Prabhu Deva in lead roles.
He is also filming for his father’s Coolie No. 1 where he is paired up with Sarah Ali Khan. The film is a remake his father’s 1995 release of the same name that starred Govinda and Karisma Kapoor.
He has also for the biopic of Second Lieutenant Arun Khetarpal of the Indian Army. The film will be directed by Sriram Raghavan and will mark his second collaboration with Varun four years after Badlapur.
