Dance icon Remo D’Souza is going to direct another dance-based movie and now it has been officially announced that he will reunite with ‘ABCD 2’ duo Varun Dhawan and Shraddha Kapoor. The film will start in Punjab on January 22, 2019, but a large part of it will be shot in London.
According to the trade analyst Taran Adarsh’s tweet, “IT’S OFFICIAL… Director Remo D’Souza, Varun Dhawan and Shraddha Kapoor reunite [after #ABCD2] for a new dance-based film… Filming begins 22 Jan 2019 in Punjab… Major chunk will be shot in the UK… Produced by Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar and, Lizelle D’Souza.”

The film will be produced by Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar and, Lizelle D’Souza (wife of Remo D’Souza).
Earlier the rumors were making rounds that either Shraddha Kapoor or Sara Ali Khan will be cast opposite Varun Dhawan. Katrina Kaif was also approached for the role but due to the dates clash with her currently filming ‘Bharat’, she had to walk out.
Confirming the news, Shraddha says, “I’m excited to reunite with Remo sir, Prabhudehva sir, and Varun after ABCD 2. This was made possible by Bhushanji (producer Bhushan Kumar) who brought us back and believed in this amazing story. It is going to be a lot of hard work for everyone involved but we are all pumped up.”
Bhushan Kumar revealed his plans to make the biggest dance 3D film till date, “The audience has already seen Varun and Shraddha’s chemistry, now, Remo will redefine dance for our audience.”
The director is very excited to reunite with his old team. He says, “It feels like old friends have come together to help us. We have worked as a team in the past and I’m sure it will be a fun ride again.”
The duo had worked together in Remo’s ‘ABCD 2’ and their Chemistry and dance were widely appreciated.
