A big film needs big efforts, but most importantly, it requires the guidance of a legend. Nag Ashwin, who is helming Deepika Padukone and Prabhas’s next, sci-film has been blessed in this regard. Joining him, as his mentor is, veteran director and screenwriter, Singeetam Srinivasa. A legend and a visionary, he comes aboard to guide Nag, in making a wondrous film.
The production house of the film, Vyjayanthi Movies, announced this via social media. The day also marked Srinivasa’s birthday, who they wished him.
Releasing a sketch of Singeetam Srinivasa on social media, they welcomed him to the team. The poster featured the message,
“Welcoming one of the greatest filmmakers Singeetam garu to the magnum opus as our mentor. Happy Birthday sir. Thank you for using your quarantine time also for the film.”
Further, the official Twitter account of Vyjayanthi Movies posted the following tweet :

On September 9, Srinivasa had tested positive for COVID-19. Although, last week in a video posted on social media, he said that his quarantine period is coming to an end on September 22. The filmmaker was under home quarantine and is fine, following his daily routine.
In 2021, the film will start its shoot, with a release date scheduled for sometime later, in 2022. While Prabhas and Deepika play the main leads in the film, the other cast and crew will b announced soon.
Prabhas is also set to star in Adipurush, which Raut directs. Based on the Hindi epic, of Lord Rama, the film will feature actor, Saif Ali Khan in the role of the villain, Lankesh.
