Veteran poet and Lyrics writer Rahat Indori dies in Indore hospital today. He was tested COVID positive yesterday and was admitted to the Indore hospital. The writer tweeted in the morning that he is tested COVID positive after some initial symptoms.

He also added he will update his fans regularly regarding his health condition. He has been admitted to the Aurobindo hospital in Madhya Pradesh.

The 70-year-old writer died following a massive heart attack. He received three consecutive attacks and was stabilizing after the first attack. But died after the two successive attacks.

 

The poet suffered from breathlessness and lung congestion in the local nursing home. He was then shifted to SAIMS, a COVID-19 care hospital. The doctors found out he suffered from bilateral Pneumonia to 50% of his lungs.

The doctor also added the poet suffered from diabetics and hypertension too.

He was a great poet and known for his poems in Urdu. He has also penned lyrics for several Bollywood songs. He has written the songs for the movies Munna Bhai M.B.B.S., Murder, and others.
