After the huge success of Sardar Udham, Bollywood actor Vicky Kaushal is set to portray the role of Field Marshal Sam Manekshaw in his upcoming film Sam Bahadur. Meghna Gulzar’s directorial biopic will envelop the military career span of Sam Manekshaw over four decades, including the five wars.

On April 3, Vicky Kaushal took to Instagram to share a picture of Field Marshal Sam Manekshaw on his 108th birth anniversary. Sharing the story, the actor wrote, “Remembering Sam Bahadur!,” and added a couple of hand-folded emoticons.

Vicky Kaushal will soon be seen portraying the role of Field Marshal Sam Hormusji Framji Jamshedji Manekshaw in his upcoming film. For the unversed, among many accolades for his bravery, Sam Manekshaw was honoured with Padma Bhushan, Padma Vibhushan, and a Military Cross for gallantry (for World War II).

Bollywood actor Vicky Kaushal recently wrapped up Laxman Utekar’s yet-untitled project alongside Sara Ali Khan. He also has The Immortal Ashwatthama being directed by Aditya Dhar.
