The Indian film actor Vidyut Jammwal says that he has no insecurities. He is popularly known as “The New Age Action Hero of Bollywood”. He has appeared in both Kollywood and Tollywood films. He made his Bollywood debut with the movie ‘Force’ alongside John Abraham. In 2012, Vidyut made his debut in the Tamil movies with the Billa II, where he played the role of an antagonist opposite Ajith Kumar and for his role he received a critical appreciation. He rose the popularity in Bollywood with his second Hindi movie title ‘Commando– A One Man Army’, which was an action film directed by Dilip Ghosh and produced by Vipul Shah. The movie features Vidyut Jamwal in the lead role of a Protagonist along with Pooja Chopra and Jaideep Ahlawat as main characters.
Currently, he is gearing up for his upcoming movie titled ‘Baadshaho‘, which is written by Rajat Arora and directed by Milan Luthria. It is a story of “six badasses” set in the emergency period of 1975 when they looted a truck full of gold. The film features Ajay Devgn, Emraan Hashmi, Esha Gupta, Ileana D’Cruz and Vidyut Jammwal in the lead roles.
About his upcoming movie, Vidyut said that he was never felt overshadowed in the multi-starrer film as he has no insecurities. When asked that he ever felt insecure because of other stars, On this Vidyut says, “No chance. I started from zero in South Indian films. I played very small characters there and still got noticed. At a very early age of my career I realised, if I am talented, someone will definitely notice me and that has exactly happened. I have no insecurity. I can go back to our ashram to do my Kalaripayattu all over again.”
The movie will be based on the story of six badasses, which set in the emergency period of 1975 when they looted a truck full of gold. However, the movie Baadshaho does not claim to be inspired from any true incidents but sure does promise an exciting journey of six people who are charged with robbery of gold worth millions, and of course a lot of action.
The film is scheduled for September 1 release.
