The makers of Vidyut Jammwal’sJunglee‘ dropped in another short teaser of the film, giving a sneak peek of the actor and his amazing world of animals. A Junglee Pictures production, ‘Junglee’ is directed by Chuck Russell, who also directed Hollywood films like ‘The Mask’ and ‘Scorpion King’, produced by Vineet Jain and co-produced by Priti Shahani.

The video features Vidyut getting into his character and training to be “Junglee”. The trailer of the film releases on March 6.

The actor went an extra mile for this film. He turned elephant whisperer, got in touch with his inner beast, mastered the art of Kalaripayattu and was recently honored as one of the best martial artists in the world.

The first teaser which released in October last year featured the star flaunting his body and newly acquired techniques. In the video, he can be seen imitating the movements of the Komodo dragon, the python, and even a scorpion.

Vidyut explained, “Kalaripayattu is a discipline that has encouraged people to pick up on strength, sensibility and personality traits of various fantastic animals. It was amazing for me to extend my knowledge of Kalaripayattu by practicing animal flow. Most of the conventional exercises in the gym isolate only two muscles at a time. However, training like an animal functionally overcomes this one way to optimize strength, flexibility, mind-body control.”

He further added, “Humans are emotional beasts and hence face trouble in being in the moment. That is why we are not natural fighters like the leopard or the tiger who do not get paralyzed by fear. These animals do not get paralyzed by guilt situation. This awareness, apart from additional strength from animal flow helped me be at ease with the animals I shot with for ‘Junglee’. I was awed by the depth of this stream of martial arts and wanted to bring on the big screen with ‘Junglee’.”

The film is scheduled to release in theaters on April 5.
