On the work front, Vijay had last impressed us as a romantic lover with successful film Dear Comrade. The film was directed by Bharat Kamma and it featured Vijay Devarakonda, Rashmika Mandanna and Shruti Ramachandran in the main roles.
He will next be seen in World Famous Lover, a romantic drama film written and directed by Kranthi Madhav starring Vijay Deverakonda, Raashi Khanna, Aishwarya Rajesh, Catherine Tresa and Izabelle Leite in lead roles. The film was officially launched last month and is expected to release in 2020.
Vijay is currently facing some troubles with his upcoming film Hero. Actually, the title Hero has become a dispute between Vijay Deverakonda and PS Mithran, who is currently making a film with the same name with Sivakarthikeyan in it.
According to sources, production company of Vijay’s side had already registered the title ‘Hero’ earlier but the other side has made posters and other promotional material already.
Seeing Vijay’s film budget and all, it will be very difficult for makers to change the title now. For now, the matter is all set to be fought legally and only time will tell who gets the title.
