Bollywood has imported many heartthrobs from the south Indian movie industry. Prabhas and Rana Daggubati being the latest, we are hoping for more talented South Indian stars to become a part of Bollywood, and Tamil superstar Vijay Sethupathi is one of them.
The Naanum Rowdy Dhaan actor, spoke to film critic, Anupama Chopra in her segment titled 100 Greatest Performances of The Decade, Actors Adda, along with 8 actors to various facets of stardom.
During an hour long interaction, Sethupati confirmed being a part of Aamir Khan and Kareena Kapoor Khan starrer Laal Singh Chaddha which is still in post production stage.
The Karrupam actor also opened up on his biggest concern about being in Hindi film industry. The actor said the most challenging part for him would be adjusting to North Indian sensibilities and mostly Hindi language.
He further elaborates that being from the south Indian region it’s easier to anticipate audience and preparing for his various roles for the regional movie goers.
He further added, “anyone could learn the language, but knowing the society well and being a part of it, makes it easy to bring the needed innocence and purity to the character.”
