The quirky and talented actor Vinay Pathak has started shooting for his upcoming film ‘Chappad Phaad Ke’ with co-stars Ayesha Raza Mishra, Siddharth Menon, and Sheetal Thakur. The film, being directed by Sameer Joshi went on floors today in Pune. Yoodley Pictures is backing the project.
Movie critic and trade analyst Taran Adarsh tweeted about the film and with a picture of Vinay, wrote, “Vinay Pathak, Ayesha Raza Mishra, Siddharth Menon, and Sheetal Thakur… #ChappadPhaadKe filming begins in #Pune… Directed by Sameer Joshi… Produced by Yoodlee Films.”

Pathak is a well-known actor of Bollywood noted for his works in ‘Khosla Ka Ghosla’, ‘Bheja Fry’, ‘Island City’, and ‘Johnny Gaddaar’ and supporting role in some high profile movies like ‘Jism’ and ‘Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi’. The actor hails from Bhojpur district, Bihar and since he started his acting career in 1998 with English language film ‘Bombay Boys’, has worked in more than 40 movies.
He has also worked in Television series and shows including a Canadian television film ‘Murder Unveiled’.
He was last seen in Kartik Aaryan and Kriti Sanon starrer ‘Luka Chuppi’ where he played the role of the actress’ father. He will next appear in Vivek Agnihotri’s ‘The Tashkent Files’ as Mukhtar. The film is based on the mysterious death of the second Prime Minister Of India Lal Bahadur Shastri.
