The newly married couple, has been welcoming gifts, blessings and love from well-wishers across the world. It was one gift, however that made Virat feel overwhelmed and speechless.
His father-in-law Colonel Ajay Kumar Sharma and his wife Ashima (Anushka’s mother) happened to recently attend the book launch of Tejaswini Divya Naik’s poetry collection – “Smokes and Whiskey”. Since the “power couple” is an ardent fan of the hypnotizing and mesmerizing world of poetry, Anushka’s father decided to gift the signed copy of this book to their son-in-law Virat Kohli.
Anushka’s parents reportedly have kept a signed copy aside, exclusively for their son-in-law who is currently in South Africa, playing for the Indian cricket team.
The couple definitely completely immersed into the elegance and calmness of the world of poetry, evident in the fact that they decided to gift the guests at their wedding reception a copy of an anthology of Saint Rumi’s poems.
The couple again hits a masterstroke which this very diversified interest that is taking the world by surprise and creating ‘awe’ moments for them.
