Small Screen actor Vishaal Kotian says that the comedian Kiku Sharda uses his stardom and he got him ousted from the television show. He says that the comedy is a very serious business and he will vouch for it. Vishaal was finalized to play one of the two male leads along with Kiku in their upcoming show with a title ‘Partners’. However, Vishaal has been unceremoniously ousted from the show and he feels that Kiku is behind everything.
Vishaal says that Kiku used his stardom and got him out of the show. Both of them were supposed the play the two main characters in the show and out of a sudden Kiku started finding the flaws with it. All he wanted was the show to be toned down so that he will get all the comedy and other actors do not get much of the screen time.
Moreover, Vishaal says that he even got the scripts from a six different writer and he suggested to the makers that they should change the title of the show and the focus of the show will only be on him. The makers, as well as the channel, have denied his request as they have already marked the show with a title ‘Partners’. Vishaal says that then he suggested that an actor was not as beefed as him so the show was no longer an action comedy show. He even got a different director to shoot his scenes.
However, Vishaal says that he did not expect that he is so much insecure about him. They both used to share a great equation and he says that this is what one does after being successful? He feels very happy that he is not successful then. When Vishaal confronted Kiku he denied that he did not get him out and he keeps on insisting that he was having no issues with me. He says if he would have at his place then he would have dealt the situation in a different fashion.
While Kiku clarifies by saying that Vishaal is saying all this just because he is not a part of this show now. He is hurt and he can very well blame him, but Kiku feels that he has to understand that he is not above the channel. It was the makers’ decision to replace him out of the show it was not his decision. This decision was mutually taken by the director, producer, by the channel and by him. So if he wants to point out finger than he can point out to anyone of us. Kiku says that there are various other reasons for replacing him from the show and he would not like to disclose that.
Kiki feels that he is a very talented person and he has to move on now. However, he is returning to the fiction genre after a year now and he wanted to do a funny show now. His priority will always be the comedy but they are not doing away with the actions and viewers will see the new actor Vipul Roy in the show and he will be going to perform the action on the show.
The small screen usually follows a certain limitation which everyone has to follow while doing the action genre and that will look grander on the big screen. There are more certain things like concepts were not working out. There a lot which they have to look into the betterment of the show. When asked from Kiku that there was a rumor that he got a new director to shoot his scene? On this Kiku said that He loves to work in a comfortable environment and he was very much comfortable with the director whom he has worked on the show titled ‘Akbar Birbal’ and he does not think that there is anything wrong in that.
He believes that Vishaal is just talking about the show or about him, how is it helping him? He just wants to blame someone for his ouster so it is very simple that he has chosen him. Kiku says that he even pinged him a number of times but he did not reply to his pings because he does not know what to reply. However, he still wishes him all the best for the future.
