Well-known actor Vivek Oberoi is making his second appearance on a web series. The series is said to be the biggest international web series and it will be based on the life of Swami Vivekanand. The shooting will start early next year. It will be one of the most expensive shows.
Box Office India broke the news on its official Twitter account. It wrote, “According to reports, @vivekoberoi will star in one of the biggest international web series – a biopic on #SwamiVivekananda. The series’ whose shooting commences early next year is touted to be one of the most expensive shows.”

Vivek started his career with Ram Gopal Verma’s film ‘Company’ in 2002 which was a big hit and earned the actor two Filmfare awards, for Best Debut Award and Best Supporting Actor Award. Since then he worked in several films but he is noted for his performance in ‘Omkara’, ‘Shootout at Lokhandwala’, ‘Rakta Charitra 1’ and as a supervillain in ‘Krrish 3’.
Currently, he is working in a Malayalam film ‘Lucifer’, Kannada film ‘Rustam’ and a Telugu film ‘Vinaya Vidheya Rama’.
In 2017, Vivek appeared in a web series named ‘Inside Edge’. It also starred Tanuj Virwani, Richa Chadha, Angad Bedi, and Sayani Gupta. The critically acclaimed web series was an inside look behind the politics where selfishness is almost morality, while sex, money, and power are mere means to an end.
