Actor Sidharth Malhotra and Manoj Bajpayee are gearing together for their upcoming Indian crime drama movie titled ‘Aiyaary‘, which is being helmed by Neeraj Pandey. The movie is based on a true incident involving two army officers. While Manoj will be seen as the mentor, Sidharth will be playing his protege and both are two strong-minded individuals who have completely different views but are right in their own way.
Today, Bollywood Analyst Taran Adarsh released the trailer for the upcoming movie titled ‘Aiyaary’ on his Twitter account along with a caption saying, “Neeraj Pandey is a proficient storyteller and the trailer of his new film #Aiyaary captivates you completely… Republic Day 2018 release… #AiyaaryTrailer link.”

The almost three minutes long trailer for the movie gives the audience a sneak peek into the relationship of a mentor Manoj Bajpayee and his protegee Sidharth Malhotra. In the trailer, the look of both the actors are setting the tone of the movie and that is something which is adding to the elements of the thriller are the versatile actors like Naseeruddin Shah and Anupam Kher.
After looking at the trailer it seems like it is a battle between the two army officer and both of them are having own ideologies and both of them are having their own ways of getting the things done. However, the trailer for the movie also gives us the hint that this will be going to harm the India Army’s reputation.
In the movie, actor Manoj is playing the role of a Colonel Abhay Singh and he is on a lookout for Major Jai Bakshi (the character played by Sidharth Malhotra) and he is a surveillance officer. In the trailer, Manoj tries to gauge the meaning of the words ‘Aiyaar’ and for him, the word means that someone who remains in disguise to fool others.
However, director of the movie, Neeraj Pandey explains the title. He said that it is a very special project with a very exciting ensemble. The word means the ultimate trickery and it also a fabulous sum up what a soldier resorts to the ultimate that too in the face of the extreme crisis. Their intelligence, sharpness and the wit not only bedazzles not only his own troop but this has also earned him the respect of all his enemies.
The movie ‘Aiyaary’ is scheduled to release on 26 January 2018.
