“Lucknow Central” is an upcoming Indian Bollywood comedy film, directed by Ranjit Tiwari and produced by Nikkhil Advani, under the banner of Emmay Entertainment. The film will star Farhan Akhtar, Diana Penty, Ronit Roy and Uday Tikekar. The movie also features Punjabi singer Gippy Grewal. The film will be released worldwide on September 15, 2017.

The 2 minutes 37 seconds trailer reveals the story of a small-towner who dreams to be a singer. But destiny has some other plans for him as he gets wrongfully charged with murder and he is put in jail where his life is turned to hell. He devises a plan of forming a music band with other inmates. The main motive of the team is to escape from the jail. While Diana Penty’s entry in the movie gets a hope of fulfilling his wish of becoming a singer. The movie also features Ronit Roy as the main antagonist and Deepak Dobriyal as one of the band members.
