Actors keep trying new methods and tricks in order to prepare for their roles in a film. Many a times, it is about the demand of a certain character that requires physical transformation. We have seen actors and actresses gaining and losing weight for a specific character.
Sometimes it is more about the mental and emotional preparation to get into the psyche of the character and look more real and relatable to the audience. We have one more actress added to this latter list. We are talking about Yami Gautam who will soon be seen in her upcoming film Bala. The actress has recently revealed that she created a personal account on the Tik Tok app in order to prepare for her role in the film where she plays a Tik Tok star.

She said, “It is important that people come and watch my character in the film and not the person who I am. I invested wholeheartedly in absorbing every shade of this character so that people are drawn to her. I wanted to nail every nuance — from her nazakat to the small town diction.”
The actress further added, “Watching Tik Tok videos helped me with the groundwork. Of course, the graph of character is different, but I felt the first round of learning came from being on the app. It was an important process for me.”

Yami was last seen in the superhit film Uri: The Surgical Strike and after Bala she will be seen in Ginny Weds Sunny opposite Vikrant Massey directed by debutant Puneet Khanna and produced by Vinod Bachchan.
Besides Yami Gautam, Bala stars Ayushman Khurana and Bhumi Pednekar in the lead roles while Javed Jaffrey, Saurabh Shukla, and Seema Pahwa will be seen playing supporting roles.
The film which is a satirical comedy on the society and its attitude towards a young man who is suffering from premature balding that results in his lack of confidence is slated to be released on 7 Nov this year.
