The upcoming episode of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata hai begins at the eve of Kartik and Naira’s engagement. Suhasini is still worried that the date of the divorce between Kartik and Vedika is coinciding with the event. Swarna tells her to stay calm. Kartik and Naira finally arrive at the ceremony, as their families look at them lovingly. Kairav brings the rings for the ceremony. It’s revealed that the plastic rings were for a girl in his school, Nazakat. Kartik and Naira are relieved. As the ceremony is going on, Akhilesh proposes to Surekha and asks if she’ll marry him again. Surekha agrees. The family then celebrate the engagement by dancing.
However, in a shocking scene, it is revealed that Akshat has been released from the prison on bail. Kartik calls Naira to a corner of the house. She’s afraid that there’s a problem but then Kartik reveals he just wanted to be alone with her. Naira gets angry at him, but she’s not serious. They tease each other, and then run around the house as the romantic track follows. Kartik lifts Naira up and gives her a whirl. But when he stops, Kartik is shocked to see someone approaching him from distance.
